Safety

• Because we carry purses, women are more frequently the targets for pickpockets.

• Do not walk alone at night especially if you have had drinks as you become more vulnerable.

• Around drunk men, any woman should watch out (and Czechs do like to drink).

• Violent crimes in Prague are not frequent, but it is helpful to remember that the city is less diverse than parts of the United States. With this is mind beware of situations in which race and religion may become an issue.
